Sewing projects

These pj's were inspired by a book called simply sewing in which the instructions for a pair of lounge pants where this. Fold fabric inside out after washing. Then lay the top and bottom on fold of fabric trace with chalk then remove your top and bottom you are tracing. Then cut, and sew. I cut this a little smaller than I intended. So, when I sewed it together it didn't fit me. It fit one of my closest friends. Hi R!! Glad you are enjoying the pj's. I made a pair slightly bigger and longer for our trip home.
This is called a t-shirt dress. I originally tried to make a bandana dress but my 12 x 12 panel shrank after i washed them. so, I just added them around the bottom. Similar to a flapper dress bottom. I also did a butterfly applique wiht ribbon atennas. I still need to add buttons to the butterfly. My wonderful child has a new dress from a t-shirt that the child would not wear until I made this. Any one wanting the link for the bandana dress, just email me at meanmomdigitalproductions@gmail.com. I will email it to you.

As for my bibs and receving blankets for my other friend M. Hi M! I hope you are so enjoying the cooler temperatures where you are at. We are baking like eggs in a frying pan here. I will have to take pictures of them later and post later.
