Thursday bust to move

oh did i go there. To be sure that I get all the chores done to be available for the online crop, I am going to be a crazy fool for today.

Here's my to do list (brb gotta check on the clothes in the washer)
vaccum-done
mop kitchen
laundry-sort, wash, dry, put away-done
sort through remaining boxes- kitchen(NOT FINISHED) and master closet(done)
polish all cabinets and shelving units-done
thaw out dinner from freezer-done
water fountain and plants
excerise-done
check mail-done
make sure all bills are written and ready to mail

lunch is peanut butter sandwhiches..we ran out of jelly!

update on my job..they emailed me saying they needed more referrences. I just filled them out.

Wednesday Stress, Plans, and replies to comments

Today is a very stressful for my Dh. He found out yesterday that a co-worker that worked for his company for over 20 years was laid off due the economy. He was just about unstressed from the move and his parents. Then this. I told him in no uncertain terms that we were spending any more money on the house for decorations or furniture until we have another saftey nest egg ready in case they let him. I also instructed him to put his ear to ground for possible job oppurnities else where, so, if he is given a better offer then we should take it. I would prefer staying in the desert enivorment due to all the allergies but if we have to move out of state again. Then we will. He would prefer staying here too!

Kinda of scary at the moment.

I put in my job application at the school district yesterday. I hope the fact I put in some information wrong accidentally doesn't hurt my chances of gettign the part time job there. It would really help my Dh settle down some.

Today's plan:

finish straightening up
make dinner this morning
library this afternoon(they are showing the new movie a race to witch mountain)
Maybe a long swim after the library
Dunno..



Smart and Sassy: You can get use two peas in a bucket tutorials on using software like ps or pse. Jessica Sprague has some really good tutorials as well. I don't use photoshop currently. My current laptop can really support the software I use now or has enough ram to do so. I use power point 2007 and paint.net until my DH can afford to buy me a new computer to install photoshop. We have it but we can't install it.

Gennifer and Crystal: it was craziness and freaking out 101 all the way. I actually called friends and ex co workers to tell them while i hysterically lost it.

Linda-I'm glad you liked the pub ad inspiration. Its the first time someone has left a comment about it. Thank you! If you like I have more in back posts. they usually appear on sunday but I think one time I put one in on a Wednesday.

Mini Fire at my house

You see the said base to my blender to the left in the photo. Well, as I am trying to try making my own lima bean recipe. I pour my lima beans into the blend to puree into a dip. It starts and stops, and makes a fun sound repeatedly. then a weird smell, the smell of burning plastic and metal. I can't tell where its coming from. I pull the top part away from the base. Then I see the smoke...it starts small and gets larger.

Its an OMG (wasn't what went through my head yall, every inappropiate words raced through my brain) moment. Unplugg the smoking hot base, do a small dunk into my new sink, holler in a very panic voice kids stay in your room and the one under foot go to your room, and I get the fire extungusher to spray this funky yellow stuff all over the base, sink, and clean dishes on the other side of the counter. Grab the back door open it wide to air out the house and get rid of the cloud of massive fire putting out stuff, and to keep panic from getting worse.

Call my DH at work. Explain to him what had happened. To his reply,"why didn't you just throw it outside to chill". I spent the next 30 minutes cleaning up my kitchen.

PS dill weed and lima beans don't go well together. Make the weird pucker face and go yuck!!!!

Tuesday Chatter batter

This the mini water splash park my kids and I waited to open for over an hour. We finally had to call the number to find out what was going on. No note, no spoken word from the maintance man that left while we were there. They finally told us after sending another person out that it was done for repair.

Needless, to say, we went home disappointment and sad. I put hope in those little eyes and made them glad. Since this morning was a busted bubble, lets do a thing better and hit the pool running. Not right now for we would melt like snowmen out of the north pole but later today we'll go go go.


So, after enrolling my kids in school. Only to discover they had reopenned the mini splash park with a call or notification. We spent a few hours cleaning and straighting without much to be noticed by my DH other than an argument later in the night.

To go swimming in nice cooling waters of the pool. To look out to see this as we swam or dried off. Its so pretty and tranquil to look at. We ran into our new friends again while at the pool. It was so nice to have friends to swim with and play with again.


This is the moon shining bright and twinkling last night. I grabbed my cell phone and snapped this one too. How does the poem go..
I see the moon and the moon sees me..


Chat today at noon. Can't wait. I have to submit my employment application today. yes, the lady from the school called me. I can't wait.

Monday Mad Hatter Madness

Okay these are actually flower pots. Yes, giagantic flower pots. Aren't they cool. You would think they would be found at an expensive boutique expect, they are at a local wal-mart. DH would have a couple cow if I bought these and put them out.


Frustration that my wii wasn't working early this morning for a work out. I should have gone for a walk instead. Grr...

Today is enrollment for the kiddos at their new school. This means finding all the paper necessary for the enrollment process and finding a hospital and doctor that is covered by a United Health Care Subusadary company. If any of you, have United Health Care they cause their own stress in one's life that is unbareable and causes you to see medical attention from their non-user friendly website and customer service department. If I could switch health insurance providors, I would!!!!!! This company truly and total is the meaning of certain word not appropiate for print or to even speak.

I am planning on taking the kids to a mini water park near the school after we are done. The poor kids don't have any friends that we can call upon for playtime or entertainment. Plus, with my vechile on its life support system until we can afford to go another one. Trips out and about are very limited.

Then this afternoon, I must go through several books of books, and homeschool stuff to keep trash or donate.

i am hopefully able to partake in the the new free class at two peas in a bucket. No answer from anyone on the status of my questions. Though, I asked them when most poeple aren't in the office to answer questions. The teacher is really cool. so, I am sure that today she will get back in touch with me. I heard from the teacher. It is a fee paid class. Unfortunately, I am unable to take the class. Money is an issue for me right now since we just moved.

This morning the house is still. Music is playing lowly in the background. I have one child up and coloring. I have one still asleep. I have a DH who is still asleep.

Then there is me, enjoying the stillness of the morning.

Its Saturday

A water fall in our new subdivision. Yes, that is a golf course.



this is a fresh rosemary bush. I just have to figure out how to dry it for use in cooking. This is part of my landscaping believe it or not.

Today is errands with my DH. We will get our id cards for the parks that are for residents only in this town. Maybe, I just might get my DH to go to the splash park with water slides.
