About to scream!!!

My oldest has had tummy revolts since last friday night. We took her to the doctor on Monday. The doctor insisted that the child return to school yesterday. We did that. As you know of the last post, it was not a fun night. I finally convinced the doctor to issue a specimen kit to me to get some answers. My DH is about turn into the hulk himself because it is as if our kid is getting blown off.

My oldest had an accident at school today. The nurse and office staff both were so shocked when they found out who we use because that is who they use. They couldn't believe that they insisted my child was fine to go to school.

I have had enough. My child will stay at home until there is no more tummy revolts. We will get samples, and we will have results. I will be switching pedatric offices as soon as the child is well.

Wednesday Raine

Looking out this morning, I saw staning puddles of rain. Then I heard the chorus line from the song raine by bret michaels run through my groggy brain.

Give you love, give you strength
Get you through your darkest days
When you cry I’ll dry the tears for you
Through the years, through the pain
Times of heartache, times of change
I’ll be your sun you be my Raine

Reminding of the wonderful relationship i have with my kids. One of whom, is still sick with symptons of the viral virus. For two hours last night, which included the time during the digi chat may I add, my poor baby literarily went to the bathroom repeatedly every 10-15 minutes. At one point the literarily had blood coming out, I don't mean the kind that you get from straining too hard. the kind that sends the five alarm fire alarms going off in a parents head telling them something is very wrong. This isn't a viral thing. Not to mention the ordor. When blood and a strange ordor mix its time for the doctor to be notified. Guess what. They didn't call back for over two hours. In desperation we gave the kid some kids pepto tablets, so, the kid could lay down and rest for about an hour maybe. Well, the kid literarily knocked out. I took a sample. Yes, I did. This is something all parents should know, I learned from experience. I took q-tips and got a "fresh sample". Placed it in a sealed ziplock baggie. Yes,saved it for when the office is open. I will be calling them demanding a fecal matter test for food born bateria, and parastic infections.

In desperation, I called an associate who is a nurse. She agreed its not viral at this point. Yeah, she agread the q-tips need to be tested. Always told me to go to a special emergancy/after hours place for kids that is close. They should take me seriously.

So, this is what my day will be off.

Make homemade soup
demand test and get test
spend time with hubby
write out bill checks
Mail bill checks
Call for witches hat again
Start design for something on paper
Then transfer design to computer.
Get help with comforter

I'm back but not in thes addle yet.

In my many unwelcomed visits, to the bathroom over the last few days. I did get to read my book from the library. I am glad I read it. My DH said the title looks unfriendly to others. Yet, I found it soulfully refreshing for me. I hope I do not turn into any of the parents on the other side. It was a truly uncensored look at parenting and marriage that really helped me see better of life right now.

As, for my stomach and body they still would have liked more rest. I got a 5:15 am wake up call from both of my children. One just getting up because well, the child's sleep cycle is off thanks to the virual virus they both have. One still had annoying symptoms from the viral virus including tummy cramps. They both went to the doctor yesterday. They are both being sent back to school today. The Doctor said they would be fine. We were wise to keep them home though because she agreed with us. If we had sent them in then they would have probably gotten worse not better.

Today a long to do list:

make shake n bake
wash our comforter
change sheets
bank
take back cat headband to wal-greens
libray public & school
rec center for gymnastic class for our oldest
digi chat 7 pm
scan in color scheme swatches for design
call about my witches hat-haven't received it yet.

I hopefully won't over do it today.

I did forget to mention that my DH was nice and order cheese pizza for us last night since we had doctor appointments about the time I normally cook dinner plus it was 7.99 for one large pizza at Papa John's

Monday...its's here? Already..

I am still feeling the affects of food poisoning as stated on my healthy blog.Link for details http://leanmeanbeings.blogspot.com.
I feel like someone has taken a 2 x4 and beaten my insides until they have died. Then laid me on set of railroad tracks, to allow a train to run me over to finish me off. Apparently, I was so sick that I appearred to be in a death sleep as a vampyre will do during the day.
The kids are still dealing with their seperate virus along with my DH. We are all on sick day to the point that one child will be heading to the doctor.

AS for my Starbucks, it was never gotten, instead spirit, gatorade, and butter toast was served continually the last few days.

As for me ability or inability to be human currently, it would be inability. The nurse at the doctor's office will have her hands full between the second child coming in and my inability to focus.

Dh...its not far behind me in the inability department..

IF I don't post, for a few days then........if you have my contact information..you may want to send a email search party to check on my status. Bed is continually callig my name.

Sunday Ad inspiration

Do you like my ad inspirations this week?

I got four overlay templates designed tonight. I will hopefully get some word art done too. I got two layouts finished today. I am praying that tomorrow I can two more started.

I really need someone to put my family on a prayer list. I am not whining. I am asking for a positive change in our behavior with each other and toward remembering God daily in our lives, understanding toward one another each of our spiritual levels, and maybe setting a better example for each other. Thank you for your prayers in advance.

Now, for our weekend, our oldest is still sick. The poor child’s insides are not agreeing with the rest of the body. It hasn’t been bad but it has been pleasant either. We have missed two out of three last baseball games of the season. It is really important that our oldest gets well fast. Today will be the day that they will get to meet the idol of the child’s fascination with baseball tomorrow. So, we really want the child to be well enough to go.

The older child and I will be spending some quality time together. I hoped to get a painting project for use to do. Expect the younger child said that painting wasn’t an option because it just wasn’t. We were supposed to get our feet done. Our new area nail salons charge $25.00-$40.00 for a basic pedicure and a manicure was $25.00,I had to say whoa Nelly. We had been paying $20.00 for a basic pedicure and that included nail art because a child was getting it done.
We’ll find something to do. I can guarantee that.
Since it’s not quite Sunday morning for me, I hope my DH keeps his promise of Starbucks treat in the morning. It would be nice.

Friday...full of stuff to do

Let me just say this, I love it when my kids are just home sick with a cold now that they are older. I get to spend a little one on one time with them without the other one getting jealous. We had such a silly day together and away from each other. We watched the jack and the bean stalk movie with albot and castillo. Funny as can be. then the child had to read or watch tv because I had to do laundry. Then we ate lunch and did the homework that didn't get done last night.

Then ran an errand to get a picture developed for the other's class project due today.

Today lots of stuff I have to have done because they got cancelled by having a sick kid home.

I have a debt with myself. To Face book my business or not to facebook..that is the question. Do you facebook? I really just don't know yet.

Sick Day Declared at Our House

Well, after 24 hours of my oldest hollering that the throat hurt. We decided to play it safe. We took the child to the doctor's office. A new doctor's office, which just loves my views of my insurance company. I had the staff roll like pigs in a mud puddle.

The nurse pulled a fast one, and tested for strep right off the bat. This did not sit well with my kiddo. Who in there right mind would sit well being tested for strep? Not me..no way no how..yuck. We have just a cold that started on Saturday apparently. So, the doctor is not taking any chances declared a day of rest and fluids with cold medicine. thanks to swine flu and the strep throat going around, they are going old school which means if you take your kid in, the next day is a day of rest and fluid. Smart move, now if the parents wouldn't lie and send their kids back to school.

I made my homemade laundry detergant that I have been blogging about on my healthy blog. it took 20 minutes for a small amount. It appearred to clean better than my regular sensative laundry soap. I will have to post pictures of it. I labelled a air tight container with specific instructions on how to use in case family comes into town. Its wonderful.

Oh Boy have I talked your ear off again..geez bad me. Its an early riser with a sick kid home.

Bragging on my friend...

Lorell at http://common-sense-scrapbooking.blogspot.com. She tried my layout template in a png form in photo shop program and let me know that it won't unlayer. She found a way to make it work. Her layout is outstandingly awesome. Is that a word? I do not know. I love how she used my template though...

You like the format? Write me or email me why you think I should release this overlay template or submitted for designer call, and I will pick three more people to try it out and base my release on it. If you win, please email me your layout and I will feature your design w/a watermark on it on my blog.

Thank you to the 44 people who downloaded my last freebie. Thank you Thank you Thank you thank you..you just don't know how special you made me feel for choosing my simple overlay template.

Tuesday....already?

Here’s a funny for you.

So, if you haven’t been following my healthy blog. You might want too. I posted a recipe to make your own laundry detergent. I will be posting pictures with the end result and the prices of the total ingredients. Believe it or not, the price was $5.30 for it total. Wednesday, I should post beginning pictures of the process.
I got totally inspired by the weekly community challenge at two peas in a bucket to do a layout with more than 12 photos. I have created a 2 page layout that you should have at least 24 pictures between the two pages up on. If you are using photoshop or pse, be aware that your layer feature will not work. It is as it says, overlay template. Enjoy the freebie…

More than 12 photos template ver 1.zip

Catch everyone at two peas digi at 12 pst...

MOnday monday nah nah

Today is grocery shopping. It would have been done yesterday but my DH was in a horrile mood.

Not to mention both my kids and their friends got into big trouble for not minding the rules.

Oh, my Dh got some travel magazine. OMG...boy do I have some inspirational ads for you in the near future.

Sunday, September 20, 2009

sunday......

Here are two ads for inspirations this week. I think they are terrific.

We stayed up way too late last night. We finished season two of the HBO True blood series. It was really funny the first season. The second season got weird. We know there will be a third season because of the cliff hanger they left you with at the end.

Today we are suppose to go to the baseball game for the kids to do an end of the season parade, if we can find a letter that gives them passes. If no letter then no baseball game. This is fine by me.

Dh and I discovered we all have a touch of a minor virus last night. Our oldest ran fever, showed signs of dehydration, and not wanting to play or do anything. Then Dh and I felt the same way. So, we just stay in our home resting and hydrating ourselves all day long. I crashed on the couch because I felt to ill to make it back to the bed. I got good solid 5 hours sleep before waking up.

This week I will be posting a layout by a friend who used a template I designed for a christmas layout I did. It came out awesome. There will be a link to her blog to see the rest of her wonderful work.

Earlier Riser

I had a little help from the angels this morning to rise at 4 am. I wanted to tackle some yard work without the sun or heat bearing down on me. They were gracious enough to be nice and wake me with the howls of coyotes and the dogs that can't stand them. I got two more bushes trimmed back this morning. The other two have to be done when its light out. Dh woke up at 5 am with our youngest child. he was like that tool is not made to trim back bushes specifically but hey if it works for you great.
I finally added the christmas photos to the page you saw below. I just can't post it with the pictures in it.
I have some very exciting news currently!!! I just can't tell you what it is until I have permission to blab it to the world..So keep posted here for the press confrence.

Look what I discovered in my kitchen this past Thursday afternoon. No joke.

I snapped it with my cell phone camera because I didnt' know when DH would download the point and shoot.

my dear friend Gen asked if there was a pot of gold at teh end of it. I think my pot of gold are those that are part of my life.

Template Freebie!!!

Here's the template i used to create a layout for my many christmas pictures. Its an overlay file.I picked out my background paper by pc layers winter wonderland kit 2. Then placed the overlay template on top it.
Then in power point 2007 I added the frames with shadows with the same kit from pc layers. Then I used Cherie Masks Be Merry Freebie Paper that was cropped down to make the additional elements to match the blue in the other paper. Then added the letters as well from the pc layers kit. I basically did this in one day because my time was spilt up.
Here's the link for the template

Christmas Template 4 photos.zip

I hope you like one of my creations. Sorry no pictures because my family won't allow me to post any of them on the internet.
Remember the only thing you get is the overlay template.

You can find the kits I used under personal use tou's at the following sites

Day two Volunteering

Okay, so, technically its still Thursday as I type this. Who cares right? I mean come on really..

Today, Friday, I will be a chaperon on a field trip at a local park with the kids. they will be playing a game called rainbow games. It will be lots of fun. I can't wait.

Before I got to the park for the field trip I have a trip to the bank, the post office, and checking the checking account to ensure money was deposited and taken out, and to maybe seeking in finishing up a layout without pictures that will show how to use the template i used.

I got notified of winning a Halloween witches hat that i had regristed for. Oh, Ms Michelle Underwood, this is one that when I get it. You will want for yourself. Seriously, girlie, and cool. Gen, Jen, and Jen don't worry I will finally take a good picture of me in the hat. If you remember last year's Halloween hat. This one will top the crop.
This is a gift that...
was never received. not that I did not try to deliver it to one of my kids teachers from her class. Its just that some immature adult took out of the lunch room or work room for themselves. I just pray they really needed. I just pray that they weren't being spiteful.

Day one of Volunteering

This layout was done using jen m. a gg at 2peas in a bucket. Her templates 1,2, and 3 will be in there store there in the next few weeks. You want it go to www.twopeasinabucket.com, click digital, then shopping.WTG!!

Yesterday got blown off as being a half day. Nothing really got done other layouts, designing, and library of course. We did the rainy with chance of meatballs celebration. It was fun.

Today I volunteer for two hours in my youngest class. The hour or two in my oldest class. Then home.

So, I will be releasing a few of my templates I have designed. Remember these will be in png/tiff format. They are more overlays than templates. They give an idea of where to place your stuff and by being and overlay you have a cardstock or pattern pattern as your base instead. I hope you like them. I have over four pages of templates I have come up with. Where did I got my inspirations, I won't lie ads. Yup,ads. Even the annoying ones can be inspiration. The cleaner the simpler the better. Though I do have to say, the ad companies get right and get it wrong sometimes. The wrong ones, I usually go..they could have done this or that let's try this. With my modifications..much bettter and more eye appealing. I will release sometime this weekend.

If you use my template, link you layout and I will post on my blog. I am proud of anyone who uses my stuff and thankful.

Half Day Wednesday

What do you think about this color combo scheme? This is close to the colors I would like to use for our snowflake celebration at our kids school. I picked it out at wal-mart a few weeks ago. I sent to the teacher and principal for approval but i haven't heard anything back yet.

Today is a half day at school. I have made a mini stress relieve kit for my oldest kid's teacher from her class. It is a generic 2 liter bottle of diet coke. The tag I made out of double sided paper, label tape, and a clean shoe string because I don't have any ribbon at the house. I will try to get a picture of it.

I didn't get any designing done or writing. I was to busy getting layouts done, cleaning house, and chatting at the digi chat. it was so nice to get together with our little circle. NOw, Gen and Jen..you gals are to funny for your brichess!!
I forgot to mention that I trimmed back my rosemary bush. I gave the clippings to a friend at school so she could make soy candles with the rosemary or cook with it. Though I need to get a fresh twig and put it in my van. Boy did my van smell fresh after the bag of rosemary sat in it drying yesterday. My plan is to wake up before the sun rises and finish trimming back the rest of my bushes this week. I want to surprise my Dh with a nice yard. I am praying this will take the stress out of him some.

Exghausted but tired.

I got more designing done yesterday. I am so proud of myself.
I cooked dinner. I started my resume over again. I paid a bill. I finished watching my dvd series from HBO.
I excerised yesterday. I set a new goal on drinking fluids. I guess I am not getting enough fluids, so, my body can't process the lactic acid my body produces from excerises.

I got a truly funny email with pictures of animals. i will have to save and upload to the blog. Seriously, funny to the point of almost running to the bathroom or crying until your mascare runns down your face.

Pub Ad..

I forgot to post this yesterday. I hope you like the inspiration.

I had such a good day yesterday. I designed word art..really cool may I add. I designed a template that even if you don't have photoshop or pse you can use. I designed another templated that I used for christmas layouts from last year. It was so cool. Thanks to Jen for explaining to me about some file types I had not heard about. I got not just one layout done but two.

We got to go to church finally. It was wonderful. The place is exactly what we need. Unfortunately, DH didn't get to go, the on call phone rang. He was literary getting off the call when we returned later.

Sunday Clarity

**the content of original message has been detailed. This is the only acceptable part for viewing********************************************************************

I decided that from now on I won’t whine, I won’t cry, and I won’t let him get to me. Who wants to be around a grump any ways? I will try to refrain from using my blog as an outlet other than for creativeness. It won’t be easy but I will try to bring the light forward and pass it on. Maybe, then others can find their way back to the path that are suppose to take in life.

Rude Awaking

First of all you ever wake a spouse like that? Nope. The rest of your day will be a living hell.

Secondly, before you point the two fingers at the other spouse look at the three fingers staring down at you like in a gun fight reminding you of all the faults you have verses your partner.

Thirdly, always carefully pull apart the number clothes you have to find said shirt and you might find the said shirt. If it was snake it would have bitten him badly.

Fourth, he got a nasty text telling him to cut his date short. He had chores he had to do too. Deal with it. I am not in a good mood.

Fifthly, what did the sign say below oh, never but never undermind your wife's judgment.

Good news, there is a running club starting up. I am joining it. I need to be running with people outside again. It would help my perspective.

Friday Funnies...last of them

A SPANISH Teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine.

'House' for instance, is feminine: 'la Casa.'

'Pencil,' however, is masculine: 'el lapiz.'

A student asked, 'What gender is 'computer'?'

Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether computer' should be a masculine or a feminine noun.. Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.

The men's group decided that 'computer' should definitely be of the feminine gender ('la computadora'), because:

1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic;

2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else;

3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for possible later retrieval;

and

4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.

(THIS GETS BETTER!)

The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be Masculine ('el computador'), because:

1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on;

2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves;

3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem;

and

4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better model.

Thursday Tottle

Here are some signs we all can laugh at and relate too! I may be inspired to do some word art designs because of these signs. Stayed for more details.

Yesterday had a major glitch at the start of picture day. Two of the three camera set up for filing close to 1200 students through in one day in an organized choas atomshphere when down. Then they went back up. We were fine.

today lots of cleaning and straightening. The house has to and needs a deep cleaning.

Sunday Reflection

desert rain shower..if you can't see the rain drops on the window. Not enough to spit about or write home about..

Life's troubles are like a desert ran storm, they come on without much warning but dissipate within a little while. How you choose to deal with it will make the outcome sweet or sour like the Chinese sauce.

We attended the WNBA Western Confrence game tonight. The Phoenix Mercury's vs Altanta Dreamers. Phoenix won!! Yeah..go go go mighty mercury's. It was also Women of Inspiration night. The night where the WNBA honors the women around their community that inspire others through helping or business wise. Before it all, started my oldest leaned over and hollered in my ear, "Hay Mommy thats you up there!". If I can't express the fact that maybe my last couple of days. To think I am an inspiration to my kids, though I have no real job skills, college degree, pedigree, or fame and fortune. To my oldest, just being a great mom is inspiration enough. Now if we can get my bone head DH to get that through his head. I know it doesn't bring extra income to the table or anything fancy. What can I say it was a moment I will remember. Thanks WNBA for making it a night to remember!

Unrestful sleep

I didn't get much sleep last night. Between the girls kicking in their sleep, me feel like I am burning up with fever with the heat of a fire, and moving to the couch, and then back in the bed. I am still tired. I will probably take a nap this morning.

Its over casted like it will rain today. I can't wait for the down poor to begin. One, it will keep my DH from thinking we need to go some where and spend money, a good time to watch dvd tv series, and read books.

I am in a reclusive (sp?) mood. Not really in the mood to socialize with anyone. This is not a typical for me. I can't shut up!

Rofl..kids write the darnest things

Okay, so I am going over the 3rd homework folder. this is what I find and quote.

"My MOm makes alot of vandalism wiht the pen."
Heehhee the teacher's comments are Vandalism is when you ruin someone else's property.

OH, man is my kiddo ever gonna get a great big peanut gallery at our house.

Fabric for Lynn/Update on home situation

Took these snap shots of fabric that I found at wal-mart. A friend at two peas was looking for some for older kids. I a not sure if this is what this is her kids style or not. so, I am posting it here. Hay Lynn, you want the prices email me.

My mil has two bulging discs in her back. She stayed over night in the hospital. She will be release sometime today.

As for my husband, I have decided everthing must be earned back from here on out. He must earn any type of intimacy by showing respect and appreciation. He wants to talk..then he'd better show good character. he wants anything else..he must show good character. Until we get the relationship back on track the way its suppose to work. Kuddos to my youngest last night, who insisted in getting in the brand new to sleep. No kuddos for the oldest, who I carried asleep to that's child's new bed. Also, bedtime is an automatic 10 pm -10:30 pm from now. I will start getting up at between 5-6 am again. I think that will be more suitable for us as a family. Structure is good even for adults.

Family Emergancy

More bad news...

We got the call this morning. That my mil fell/fainted whatever when trying to get out of bed. She has been transported to the hospital by ambulance. Her husband, and daughter are at the hospital with her.

My DH is on standby for a possible flight home this weekend to be with his mother. Currently, it doesn't look serious but then again...you won't know until they are done running tests.

Please stay a prayer..
